Makes 9 blondies.
Ingredients
1 cup buckwheat flour
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup hazelnuts chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F (180ÂșC) and place the rack in the center of the
oven. Butter an 8 inch square pan, and line the bottom of the pan with
parchment paper.
In a large bowl with a wooden spoon cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in egg and vanilla, until incorporate. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Finally fold in chocolate chips and hazelnuts chopped.
Place dough into prepared pan and smooth using the back of a spatula. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a thoothpick inserted in the center of the dough comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before removing from pan and cutting into 9 squares!
