Ingredients
5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup walnuts coarsely chopped
1/2 cup hazelnuts coarsely chopped
4 tablespoon chia seeds
2/3 cup maple syrup
Optional
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips chopped
Directions
Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
In a large bowl combine the oats, nuts and seeds.
Then, stir in the maple syrup. Mix well all the ingredients until combined.
Pour onto a baking sheet pan. Cook for around 20 minutes. Mix every 5 minutes to achieve an even color.
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack to room temperature for about 1 hour.
Serve with plain or greek yogurt!
The granola can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
